SHUTTERS SYSTEM

AF Sliding Shutters

AF

The AF sliding shutters system is divided into 3 subsystems:

  • AF-Normal – fixed blades, Adjustable Blades – Fixed frame different from mobile frame
  • AF-HPF – fixed blades, Adjustable Blades – Fixed frame equal to mobile frame
  • AF-Rustic – Double plate, adjustable blades – AF-69  Mobile frame

The AF- Normal and AF-HPF shutters subsystems were developed thinking about comfort, ventilation and construction security. The use of fixed or adjustable blades allows controlling the openings’ shading/brightness and are therefore a fundamental element in the house ventilation and comfort. A house with shutters gives a sense of a protected and secure interior and is a barrier against intrusion.

These subsystems are comprised of extruded aluminium profiles with a 40 mm span which include a European chamber to apply a vast range of accessories allowing to execute windows and doors of external opening and one, two, three and four leaves.

The use of EPDM seals, casement and sealing between mobile blades allows not only controlling brightness but also protecting the external environment opening, increasing its thermal and soundproof features.

AF-Rustic

AF-Rustic was developed based on formerly used rustic wood shutters and consequently it is a product appropriate for reconstruction and for new projects based on traditional architecture. This subsystem uses a 36 mm span extruded aluminium mobile profile and has the possibility to execute external aperture openings of one, two, three and four leaves.

The AF system is a EC marking system and was therefore submitted to a certified laboratory tests and obtained a CLASS 5 classification in the wind resistance test.
